OPERATION 147 LAUNCHES AD OPPOSING LAUREN BOEBERT IN COLORADO’S THIRD DISTRICT GENERAL ELECTION

WASHINGTON—Operation 147, a SuperPAC that aims to ensure the 147 Republicans in Congress who engineered the Jan. 6 Capitol riots and voted to decertify the 2020 presidential vote will never become part of the congressional majority, launched digital and radio ads this week opposing Republican Lauren Boebert’s reelection bid.

The spot, entitled “Too Extreme," and its accompanying radio ad will run in Colorado’s 3rd Congressional District. The ad drives home the point that from her roll in allegedly orchestrating the January 6th Insurrection to her voting record on the issues that matter most to Coloradans, like veteran’s healthcare and water, Lauren Boebert is too extreme to represent the voters of CO-3 for a second term.

The ad targets moderate and swing voters in Colorado’s 3rd Congressional District. Operation 147's ad will run through the morning of Election Day.

Boebert’s Democratic opponent is Adam Frisch. Recent polling indicates that the race is tight, but Frisch but must solidify his standing with moderate Republicans and swing voters to win.

“It is so important for the pro-democracy movement to take the fight to anyone who is actively working against democracy. Voters everywhere need to know the choice they have this November,” said Joe Trippi, one of the founders of Operation 147. “We can’t let Republicans monopolize airtime in rural districts.”

OPERATION 147 LAUNCHES AD SUPPORTING MELANIE STANSBURY IN NEW MEXICO'S FIRST DISTRICT SPECIAL ELECTION

WASHINGTON—Operation 147, a SuperPAC that aims to ensure the 147 Republicans in Congress who engineered the Jan. 6 Capitol riots and voted to decertify the 2020 presidential vote will never become part of the congressional majority, launched a television ad today supporting Democrat Melanie Stansbury's bid to win a congressional seat in the June 1 special election.

The spot, entitled "Just One," will air in New Mexico's 1st Congressional District, which includes the City of Albuquerque. The ad drives home the point that all five off-cycle congressional elections scheduled nationally through January 2022 are important, given the slim majority Democrats currently hold in the US House of Representatives.

The ad targets all households in the New Mexico's 1st District in which one individual is a reliable Democratic voter while the other residents often skip voting in election primaries and midterms. Operation 147's ad will run through the morning of Election Day.

The special election is to replace Rep. Deb Haaland, who joined President Joe Biden's cabinet in March. It has Stansbury facing off against one Republican and one Independent candidate. Early voting began on May 15. Local media reports high interest in the race among early voters.

“I can't emphasize how important every upcoming House election is, with Democrats holding a slim 6-seat majority,'' Said Joe Trippi, one of the founders of Operation 147. “We must make sure that the 147 are never part of the majority in Congress. That starts with keeping New Mexico's First District seat in the blue column."

NEW SUPERPAC WORKS TO ELECT DEMOCRAT IN TX-6

WASHINGTON—Operation 147, a SuperPAC that aims to turn out of office the 147 Republicans in Congress who voted not to certify the 2020 presidential election, has developed an ad to support Democrat Jana Lynn Sanchez’ bid to win a congressional seat in a special election on May 1, with early voting beginning April 19.

“The Big Lie’’ spot marks Operation 147’s foray into the race. The spot will target voters in a congressional district formerly held by Rep. Ron Wright. On January 6, Rep. Wright voted not to certify the US presidential election just hours after Republican extremists sacked the Capitol.

Rep. Wright died on Feb. 7 after being hospitalized for COVID-19. His widow is running to take the seat.

Early polling places Ms. Sanchez, who has deep roots in the district, among the top two finishers in a 23-candidate field. The District, just outside of Arlington, has been trending Democrat over the past few years.

“This is important: We must hold those responsible for the Big Lie and the Capitol riots for what they did and what they continue to do,’’ said Joe Trippi, one of the founders of Operation 147. “Our country cannot risk having these folks calling the shots in Congress as part of the majority.’’
